The Houston Rockets came away with the 119-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks, but Trae Young was on fire.

The rookie scored 18 points in the first half after going for 12 points in the second quarter alone.


He scored another seven points in the third quarter, only missing one shot attempt staying hot out of the half.

In the fourth quarter, he did everything he could to keep the Hawks in the game – the rookie scored 11 points on three made 3-pointers including this disgusting crossover on elite defender PJ Tucker.


And this deep three in Tucker's face to keep the Hawks winning hopes alive.


He finished with 36 points on 12-for-23 shooting from the field and a lights-out 8-for-12 from long range. He also dished out eight assists in the close loss to one of the Western Conference's best teams.

James Harden was the Rockets' leading scorer with 28 points, but snapped his streak of consecutive 30-plus-point games at 32. He shot 0-for-10 from the 3-point line but made up for it by shooting 14-for-16 from the free throw stripe.

Chris Paul has now strung together two quality games in a row, going for 20 points, eight assists and six rebounds in the win tonight.
