Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra will skip the 62nd edition of the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship, which will be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar between June 15 to June 19.
The athletics championships will serve as a selection trial for Asian Games 2023 which will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8.

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) though have allowed Chopra to take a break keeping in mind his exceptional performances in recent international events.
