Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra is all set to take part in the sixth stage of the Diamond League in Lausanne on June 30.
Chopra's name was featured in the list of participating athletes released by the organisers of the Lausanne Diamond League.
A statement on the official website of the competition read,
In the javelin, the Indian Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra will be challenged by the Czech Jakub Vadlejch and German Julian Weber.
Chopra was off to a flying start in the ongoing season by winning the Doha edition of the Diamond League on May 5 with a throw of 88.67m.

But his progress got halted after he pulled out of the BK Games in the Netherlands (June 4) and the Paavo Nurmi meet in Finland (June 13) due to a muscle strain.
But he is now fully fit and ready to take part in another Diamond League. Before the premier competition, the Indian Olympian will also be at the Golden Spike Ostrava in the Czech Republic on June 27.
After the sixth stage of the Diamond League, Chopra will also participate in the World Championships which will be held in Budapest, Hungary between August 19-27 along with the Diamond League finals and the Asian Games 2023, which are scheduled to start in September.
