Commonwealth Games silver medalist Avinash Sable is set to participate at the upcoming Rabat Diamond League 2023, which will take place on May 28 at Rabat, Morocco.

The event in Rabat will be Avinash's first 3000m steeplechase race of the season. Earlier this month at the Sound Running On Track Fest 2023 meet in Los Angeles, the Indian athlete set a new national record in 5000m race, clocking in at 13:19.30.
During last year's Rabat Diamond League, Avinash made his Diamond League debut, finishing fifth in the 3000m steeplechase race, clocking in at 8:12.48, which was a national record at the time and is his personal best to date.

Things will not be easy for Avinash this time either with some of the best athletes from around the world to compete at the Rabat Diamond League.
Moroccan star athlete Soufiane El Bakkali, who is the current World and Olympic champion will also participate at the event, along with Kenyan Conseslus Kipruto, a two-time former world champion and the Rio 2016 gold medallist.
