Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem tipped India's Neeraj Chopra to win Olympic gold at the Paris Olympics 2024. Not only did Nadeem beat Chopra to the prestigious Gold, but he also stopped the Indian from defending his Olympic gold.

The Pakistani javelin thrower broke the Olympic record of 90.57 metres, by throwing a 92.97 metres in his second attempt. He also hit a 91.79m throw in his sixth and final throw.

Neeraj Chopra on the other hand, had only one out of six throws being counted as legal. His throw in the second attempt - 89.45m - was enough to land him a second-placed finish on the podium in the Paris Olympics.
