On Wednesday, July 24th, FIBA released the schedule for the Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers.
The qualifiers are split into three windows - February 2020, November 2020, and February 2021.
Here's a look at the complete qualifiers schedule:
India, in the draw for the qualifiers that took place in Bengaluru on June 8th, is placed in Group D alongside Bahrain, Lebanon and Iraq.
Thus, the Indian team will play against each of these countries twice, on a home-and-away basis.
As per the FIBA Rankings , India (74th) is the second-best nation in their group after Lebanon (55th) while Iraq and Bahrain are placed 79th and 113th respectively.

At the conclusion of these qualifiers, the top two teams from each group will directly qualify to the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 while the six third-place teams will compete for the remaining four spots in a qualifying tournament.
