Grayson Waller has stood toe-to-toe against some of the greatest WWE stars of all-time during his career - but the charismatic Australian may be in the midst of his toughest challenge yet.
The 33-year-old, who joined the company's developmental program in 2021 before earning a main roster call-up, has squared off against the likes of John Cena and Edge inside the ropes, but is taking his talents to a whole new level.
On a recent episode of WWE's YouTube show The Bump, one of the company's fastest-rising villains would take a swipe at Travis Kelce, claiming the Kansas City tight-end was 'settling for a six' by dating global popstar Taylor Swift.
In the weeks that have followed, Waller has received the full wrath of the 'Swiftie' fanbase across the globe, leading to a continued troll job on social media that has earned the Sydney-born product plenty of criticism.

Waller's first thinly-veiled swipe at the new power couple came on his own Twitter profile back on October 9th, taking a photo with Kelce's mother Donna and donning Philadelphia Eagles colours.

The former school teacher has gone on the record as a huge fan of the Eagles and recently visited the training facilities in Philly, meeting with Travis' older brother Jason, as well as fellow Aussie star Jordan Mailata.
But despite his love of two members of the Kelce clan, Waller wouldn't let that get in the way of digging his heels into Travis by talking down about his new girlfriend.
"Good for Trav... I'm not the kind of guy who'd settle for a six, but each to their own," he said on The Bump.
"To me personally, I like a little bit of spice — I like a nine or a 10. Good for him for settling and trying his best."
After receiving some spiteful responses from the Swifties, Waller would hit back and refer to her fans as "the ugliest losers on social media" and truly leaning into the growing feud on October 22nd.
Big congrats to wrestling fans! I always thought you were the ugliest losers on social media, but then I met the Swifties.

Enjoy the number 2 spot ☺️
Those 'ugly' comments would lead to even more backlash from Swift's adoring supporters, with social media posts leading to a sarcastic 'public apology' on his social media channels on October 23rd.

Despite being part of the WWE world, where larger than life characters and gimmicks are commonplace, Waller has spoken at length about his real-life personality being practically identical to the man he portrays on "SmackDown".
With his name trending alongside Swift and Kelce on social media, Waller would again appear on The Bump on October 26th and referring to her fans as 'swamp donkeys' and dressing up for Halloween appropriately.
"All of a sudden, the Swifties have come out of their dungeons, and it’s all like grumpy mums," he said.
"You’ve got all of these twos trying to defend a six... I’ve had the best week of my life."

More recently, Waller and his tag partner Austin Theory would come out to the ring decked in Swift merchandise, as well as mocking the handshake between the singer and Brittany Mahomes - the wife of Kansas City quarterback Patrick - that was shown at a recent NFL game.

While there has been no response from the Swift and Kelce camp at this stage, Waller has created plenty of traction for himself and could potentially bring new eyes to WWE's weekly programming.
Will Grayson Waller wrestle Travis Kelce in WWE?
At this stage, given there has been no retort from Kelce, there is no reason to believe the two-time Super Bowl winner is heading to WWE for a showdown with Waller.
But with a long history of using famous sports stars at their marquee events such as WrestleMania - including the likes of Rob Gronkowski and Floyd Mayweather - it could be an easy transition for the athletic and brash Chiefs star.
Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have both proven to be major wrestling fans, with the latter parading around with a WWE replica belt after last year's Super Bowl victory and the former using wrestling phrases in post-game interviews.
