Anders Nilsson stopped all 41 shots that he faced Saturday to help Sweden book its spot in the 2018 IIHF World Championship gold medal game with a lopsided 6-0 semifinal victory over the United States.
The Americans outshot the Swedes 41-20, but couldn't get anything by the Vancouver Canucks goaltender, who picked up his third shutout of the tournament.

Nilsson has been a revelation for his country over the past two weeks, allowing just six goals on 147 shots (.959 save percentage) in six starts.
Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson scored twice to lead Sweden's opportunistic offense, which also saw Magnus Paajarvi, Patric Hornqvist, Mattias Janmark and Adrian Kempe find the back of the net.
The Swedes will look to repeat as World Championship gold medalists on Sunday against the winner of the Saturday's second semifinal between Canada and Switzerland.
