With the completion of the WNBA's 2019 regular season, it is official - Washington Mystics' Elena Delle Donne becomes the first player in the league's history to join the 50-40-90 club.
Playing in 31 of the team's 34 games, Delle Donne shot 220-of-427 (51.5%) from the field, 52-of-121 (42.9%) from beyond the 3-point line and 114-117 (97.4%) from the free-throw line. She finished the season with averages of 19.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
Delle Donne achieved the feat by dropping a super-efficient 25 points (9-12 FG's) in a 14-point win over the Chicago Sky in the team's regular-season finale.

Two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash recorded a 50-40-90 season four times, while Curry did in 2016, en route to becoming the league's first and only unanimous MVP.
The 50-40-90 club included eight members before a WNBA player joined them - Larry Bird (2), Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash (4), Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Malcolm Brogdon.
Delle Donne, a seven-year veteran, was previously named the WNBA MVP in 2018, WNBA Rookie of the Year in 2013 and is a six-time All-Star.
The Mystics finished the 2019 regular season with a WNBA-best 26-8 record. As the top-seed, they have booked a direct berth to the WNBA Semifinals.

As per the WNBA schedule, the Mystics will play the winner of Round 2 in a five-game series starting on September 17.
