Caitlin Clark continues to battle in her first season as a pro. Monday's saw her fighting through something new for her entirely: an injury.
Clark, who played in all of Iowa's games during her four years in college, was hampered in the second quarter of her third WNBA game by an ankle injury after she appeared to land awkwardly on her left leg. She walked off under her own power, but she was clearly hobbled.
Trainers followed Clark to the locker room with all the tape from the bench, and with a taped-up ankle, Clark returned in the third quarter to turn in another solid performance that nearly resulted in Indiana's first 2024 win. The Fever ultimately came up short in a 88-84 defeat.
How did Clark play? Here's what you need to know.
