Caitlin Clark and the Fever have secured their first win of the season.

Indiana was 0-5 heading into its Friday night matchup with the Sparks but Clark wouldn't be denied again. The star rookie led the Fever to a second-half comeback victory, finishing with a near-triple-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Clark's 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter put the nail in the coffin for Los Angeles to come away with a 78-73 win.

This was a nice bounce-back performance for Clark, whose transition from college basketball to the WNBA hasn't been as seamless as expected. The No. 1 overall pick was averaging an impressive 17.8 points, 5.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds going into this game, but she has struggled with turnovers and efficiency.

She still struggled to find her shot against the Sparks but Clark only had two turnovers

If you missed any of the action, The Sporting News had you covered with her stats and highlights from the game below.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Los Angeles Sparks

Clark struggled to find her shot in the first half (2-7 FG) but made an impact elsewhere. Her six rebounds and four assists led the Fever, and she only had one turnover.

She showed a burst of speed for a blow-by layup, just escaping Cameron Brink's defensive presence at the rim.

She also had a dime in transition to set up Temi Fagbenle for an easy two.

In the second half, Clark turned it up a notch. She connected with star forward Aliyah Boston on a smooth pick-and-roll amidst a third-quarter run that brought the Fever back in the game.

In the fourth quarter, Clark buried two dagger 3-pointers to assure Indiana wouldn't leave Crypto.com Arena with a loss.

The first one came with just over two minutes remaining to extend the Fever's lead to six.

She then put the game away with another clutch triple with under a minute to go.

Maybe this is the breakthrough the rookie needed to shake off the early-season rust.
