The Washington Wizards rebounded emphatically after losing to the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, winning on Wednesday by 123-106.

In front of their home crowd, the Wizards jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Bradley Beal was the chief destroyer for Washington as he ended the contest with 34 points on 13-for-21 shooting from the field and 6-for-11 from beyond the arc.

Otto Porter Jr. produced a solid display off of the bench in his 33 minutes of game time with 23 points and six rebounds.

The 76ers got a huge showing from their big three of Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler and Joel Embiid but it wasn't enough to get the team over the line.

Simmons fell just shy of recording yet another triple-double as he finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Embiid and Butler combined for 38 points and 23 rebounds.

Unfortunately for Philadelphia, contributors were few and far between for the 76ers from there.

For the Wizards, the win takes them to 17-25 and pushes them further clear of the Atlanta Hawks. They'll have their hands full over their next two games as they welcome the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors, while the 76ers return home for a clash against the Atlanta Hawks.
