Conor McGregor was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida on Monday.

The UFC fighter was arrested on charges of felony strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief after allegedly destroying the phone of a fan attempting to take a picture of him outside a Miami Beach hotel, according to the Miami Beach police report.

Police say McGregor slapped the fan's phone from his hands and proceeded to stomp on it several times. McGregor then picked up the phone and walked away with it, the police report says.

"Last evening Conor McGregor was involved in a minor altercation involving a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr. McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation," McGregor's lawyer, Sam Rabin, said Monday, via CBS Miami.

McGregor was in Miami on vacation, according to the Miami Herald
