A pool of nearly 3,000 dogs will compete in front of a panel of judges for the coveted title of 'Best in Show.' A Hound has taken home the honor each of the past two years, with Buddy Holly, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, winning the honors in 2023.
This year marks the 148th edition of the Westminster Dog Show, making it the nation's second oldest continuously held sporting event. It is only exceeded by the Kentucky Derby, which just held its storied 150th iteration.
