Bianca Andreescu is on a tear in 2019.
The 18-year-old defeated world No. 18 Qiang Wang 7-5, 6-2 in the round of 16 at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif. on Tuesday. The win was Andreescu's 25th of 2019, the most in the WTA, and made her the youngest woman to reach the quarterfinals at Indian Wells in ten years.

The 60th ranked Andreescu continued to dominate with her serve. She won 82 percent of first serve points and held serve on four of Wang's five break point chances while breaking Wang's serve four times on eight opportunities.
Tuesday's win makes the Thornhill, Ont. resident a lock to enter the top 50 in the WTA world rankings for the first time in her career. A staggering feat after starting 2019 ranked 107th.
