It took Bianca Andreescu just over 52 minutes to dispatch world No. 20 Garbine Muguruza in their quarterfinal final match at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif., on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old Canadian defeated the two-time Grand Slam winner 6-0, 6-1, to be one of the last four women standing in the tournament.

Ranked 60th in the world, Andreescu outplayed Muguruza in every facet of the match. She won 69 percent of all points including 71 percent of service points and 82 percent of first-serve points.

Andreescu broke the Spaniard's serve five times in the match on seven opportunities and held serve on both of Muguruza's break point chances. 

The Mississauga, Ont., native already leads the WTA for wins in 2019 and picked up her 26th win on Wednesday. She will take on the winner of Emina Svitolina and Marketa Vondrousova in her semifinal match.
