The French Open, tennis' second Grand Slam of the year, concludes June 5 as the world's best players square off on the clay surface at Roland-Garros in Paris.

In addition to lifting La Coupe des Mousquetaires (men's singles champions) or La Coupe Suzanne-Lenglen (women's singles champion), competitors will also share in an increased prize money pool in 2022 after COVID-19 saw the total purse decline in 2020 and 2021.

The Sporting News looks at the total purse for the French Open 2022 and how it is broken down among events and their different rounds.
