Days after the US Open concluded with Carlos Alcaraz coming out as champion, the tennis action continues to roll on as 16 countries are competing in the group stages of the 2022 Davis Cup Finals.

The men's tennis tournament is set to commence with the group stage up first, running from September 13 to 19. From the three contest per team, it will be determine who is advancing to the knockout stage in late November.

There's a chance for a new champion to be crowned, as reigning winners Russia have been banned from defending their title as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

One of the teams looking to secure the Davis Cup win is Canada, who enter the tournament as a wild card team. They face a very tough group, which consists of Korea, Spain and Serbia. Only the top two teams in each group advance to the knockout stage.
