Wolves vs Liverpool prediction, odds, betting tips and best bets for 2023/24 Premier League clash image

It's hardly been the ideal start to the 2023/24 Premier League season for Wolves.

The Midlands outfit saw former manager Julen Lopetegui leave before the campaign even commenced and have since followed that up by picking up just three points from the 12 available.

The visit of Liverpool will hardly come as welcome respite then, especially as the visitors hold a psychological edge over their hosts. That's because Jurgen Klopp's side have won 12 of the last 13 Premier League meetings between the sides with Wolves failing to even find the back of the net in nine of those encounters.

That strongly points to more success here for the Reds especially as with another victory here, they'd provisionally head to the top of the Premier League standings.

    Wolves vs. Liverpool best bet

    • Pick: Both teams to score - NO
    • Odds: +110 (BetMGM)

Wolves have really struggled to find the back of the net vs. Liverpool over the past decade.

Considering they've lost 12 of the last 13 league meetings and have failed to score in nine of those matches, we're backing the selection of both teams not scoring here at +110 with BetMGM.

That offers good value, especially as the hosts are averaging just a goal a game so far in the Premier League this campaign. Two of those matches have also seen Wolves blank in front of goal.

    Wolves vs. Liverpool flier bet

    • Pick: Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah both to score
    • Odds: 4.80 (+480) (Dafabet)

As we've predicted that Liverpool will do well in front of goal in this latest Premier League outing, we're picking both Nunez and Salah to score vs. Wolves on Saturday at 4.80 with Dafabet.

Starting with Salah, he's struck five times across his club career in this head-to-head fixture and usually enjoys playing against the Midlands side. In fact, he's scored four times across his last eight matches vs Wolves, though interestingly none came at Molineux. We expect that to change this time around.

As for Nunez, the Uruguayan striker is on fire of late. Despite not being favoured to make the starting XI through Liverpool's first three games of the season. He came on vs. Newcastle to score a late brace and he picked up an assist vs Villa last time out. Nunez also scored vs. Wolves last season.
