Lyon's women's side will be looking to add to their record haul of Champions League titles when they take on Barcelona in the final on May 21.

With seven Champions Leagues in just over a decade, Lyon are frequently a force to be reckoned with on the European stage.

Here's a look at how Lyon could line up for the final against Barcelona.

Goalkeeper

Claudia Endler Mutinelli

Age: 30

An experienced Chile international, Mutinelli commands the penalty area well and has excellent reflexes. She previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia.

Defence

Ellie Carpenter

Age: 22

The right-back has been capped over 50 times by Australia and joined Lyon in 2020 from Portland Thorns. She was named the W-League's young footballer of the year three years in a row between 2018 and 2020.

Griedge Mbock Bathy

Age: 27

A France international since 2013, Mbock Bathy provides a physical presence at centre-back. She has been at Lyon since 2015, having started her senior career at Guingamp.

Wendy Renard

Age: 31

The captain of Lyon and France, Renard has represented her country over 100 times. She has won a vast array of honours for Lyon including 14 league titles and seven Champions Leagues, while she has impressive pace and technical ability. 

Selma Bacha

Age: 21

A left-back who can also play as a winger, Bacha is a graduate of Lyon's academy. She is a France international and has already won the Champions League three times.

Midfield

Lindsey Horan

Age: 27

United States international Horan is currently on loan at Lyon from Portland Thorns.

The midfielder was previously at PSG and was part of the USA side that finished third at the 2020 Olympics.

Amandine Henry

Age: 32

The experienced midfielder is in her second spell at Lyon having first represented the club between 2007 and 2016.

A France international, she received the silver ball at the 2015 World Cup.

Delphine Cascarino

Age: 25

Delphine is the twin sister of Estelle, who plays for PSG. She has enjoyed much success with Lyon since breaking into the senior side in 2015. Cascarino was the player of the match as Lyon beat Wolfsburg in the 2020 Champions League final. She could be deployed on the right flank.

Catarina Macario

Age: 22

Capable of playing in midfield or attack, Macario joined Lyon in 2021 after playing college football for Stanford Cardinal. She is a USA international and was named as the best player at this year's SheBelieves Cup.

Melvine Malard

Age: 21

The talented youngster is a product of Lyon's academy and she gained experience during a loan spell at Fleury in the 2019-20 campaign. 

In January 2020, Malard, who has subsequently become a France international, was named by UEFA as one of the ten most promising young players in Europe.

Attack

Ada Hegerberg

Age: 26

Hegerberg scored against PSG in the semi-finals. The forward recently returned to the Norway national setup after a five year exile having decided to stop representing the team in protest at how the Norwegian Football Federation treat women's football. She has been at Lyon since 2014 and has scored over 200 goals for the club.
