Al Nassr are looking to keep the pressure on Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal when they return to top-flight action with a home match against 13th-placed Al Khaleej on Saturday.

Captained as usual by Cristiano Ronaldo, the title contenders won their last-16 tie in the King's Cup on Tuesday by beating visitors Al Ettifaq with an extra-time Sadio Mane goal.

In-form Brazilian striker Talisca was dismissed shortly before the interval as his side won a third successive home game by a single goal following their 2-2 draw with Abha on October 6.

On that occasion, they spurned a two-goal lead and conceded the equaliser in second-half stoppage time – and any similar slip-ups could result in more lost ground on the summit.

Al Nassr vs Al Khaleej lineups, team news

Al-Nassr will be without Brazilian forward Talisca, who is suspended following his straight red card during that cup victory on Tuesday. Talisca has been a standout player for The Global Club who, before Tuesday, had scored 14 goals in 10 matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to lead the Al-Nassr attack once more, alongside Otavio and Sadio Mane. First-choice goalkeeper David Ospina, however, remains out with an injury he sustained in January.

Al Nassr lineup (4-3-3, left to right): Al-Najjar (GK) — Alkhaibari, Alamri, Laporte, Telles — Fofana, Al-Khaibari, Ahmed — Otavio, Mane, Ronaldo.

Midfielder Mansour Hamzi won't be available for Al Khaleej because of his suspension resulting from a straight red card he received against Damac on Monday.

It's anticipated that Pedro Emanuel will select a similar starting XI for the upcoming weekend, with Mohammed Al-Khabrani and Lisandro Lopez forming the central defensive pair and Mohamed Sherif, Khaled Narey, and Fabio Martins retaining their positions in the attacking third.

Al Khaleej lineup (4-2-3-1, left to right): Al-Haidari — Rebocho, Lopez, Al-Khabrani, Hamsal — Jung, Rodrigues — Narey, Abdulelah, Martins — Sherif.

Al Nassr vs Al Khaleej betting odds and lines

Seven of Al Khaleej's 10 points have come away from home, with their only defeat on the road since the opening day a respectable 1-0 loss at league leaders Al Hilal.

While it is tough to make a case for them bringing Al Nassr's four-game winning run in all competitions to an end, the title challengers could be in for a test again, with five of their last six home matches in the top flight and cup competitions decided by no more than a single-goal margin.
