Another compelling matchday of UEFA Champions League action awaits us, with Europe's hottest properties preparing for battle as they bid to inch ever-closer towards the last 16.

With half of the group games done and dusted, football's biggest and brightest stars are beginning to show their true colours.

None more so than Real Madrid's Toni Kroos, the top creator in the UCL this season having laid on 13 chances for his team-mates; the German will need to be at his creative best against Galatasaray as Real look to tighten their grip on a place in the knockout stages.

Joining Kroos in the creativity stakes is Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Angel Di Maria, who has been in excellent form for the Ligue 1 champions thus far.

The Argentine has been involved in eight open-play moves that have ended in a goal in the UCL this season; will he improve that number when PSG play host to Club Brugge?

Along with Di Maria, another attacker who has been excelling in the UCL is Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian winger has taken 36 touches in the penalty area this season - more than any other attacker - and he will be hoping to take some meaningful ones against Genk.

Finally, Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski has been in all-action form, scoring in every single matchday since the start of the Bundesliga; he's bagged five goals in just three UCL matches, too.

The Pole has not allowed defenders a moment's peace this season, winning possession in the opposition half nine times. Will he wreak havoc against Olympiacos?

Watch the video above for the full breakdown.

Throughout the 2019-20 season, the 'Movers & Makers' series will focus on the UEFA Champions League's top movement-based performers. Follow the series on Facebook at Nissan Football Lab.
