Bayern Munich travel to old foes Borussia Dortmund on November 4 in one of the most eye-catching fixtures on the Bundesliga schedule each season.

The two sides have been the main Bundesliga title challengers across the last decade, with Bayern Munich winning 11 consecutive titles, and Dortmund finishing second on seven occasions.

The 2022/23 campaign was decided on the final day, with Bayern retaining their crown on goal difference, as Dortmund fell at the final hurdle.

Key changes at both clubs defined their summer as Jude Bellingham left Dortmund for a new challenge at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich brought in England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham.

Dortmund vs Bayern projected lineups, team news

Dortmund head coach will make a late fitness call on Marius Wolf ahead of this game with former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can sidelined.

Julian Brandt is the player in form for Dortmund heading into this tie with three goals in his last three Bundesliga appearances.

Dortmund projected lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Kobel — Wolf, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini — Sabitzer, Ozcan — Malen, Reus, Brandt — Fulkrugg.

Manuel Neuer will captain Bayern after making his first team return last month, and Kane will lead the attack in Dortmund, with midfield star Joshua Kimmich suspended.

However, Thomas Tuchel will look to make major changes following the shock 2-1 midweek German Cup loss away at third tier side Saarbrucken.

Bayern projected lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Neuer (GK) — Mazraoui, de Ligt, Kim, Davies — Laimer, Goretzka — Coman, Musiala, Sane — Kane.

Dortmund vs Bayern prediction, odds

Both sides head into this game with an unbeaten record so far in this season's Bundesliga and they will be looking to extend that run at Signal Iduna Park.

Their 2022/23 meeting in Dortmund ended in a 2-2 draw, and this tie could follow the same pattern, with neither Terzic not Tuchel willing to lose ground in the title race.

Prediction: Dortmund 2-2 Bayern
