Besiktas forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has shared a video where he brings the Champions League to life with his family in his home.

Europe's elite football competition has been on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, stopping at the first leg of the Round of 16.

In the post shared by Boateng on Instagram, he, his wife Melissa Satta and son Maddox Prince lined up while the Champions League anthem was being played.

Next in slow motion was Maddox - wearing his father's number 99 Besiktas Jersey, doing a nutmeg on his mother before firing the ball between the legs of Kevin-Prince behind a makeshift post.

Besiktas are not involved in the Champions League this season, last featuring in the 2017/18 campaign where they reached the Round of 16 and crashed out to Bayern Munich 8-1 on aggregate.

Their hopes of making it back into the competition are a bit distance as they are nine points adrift of the final qualification berth in the Turkish Super Lig.

Boateng has featured in the Champions League in stints with Schalke 04 and AC Milan, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
