The Brazilian's performance led to him being named as one of the four nominees for the coveted UEFA Champions League Player of the Week crown, sponsored by Banco Santander - and he isn't the only Premier League star on the shortlist.

Tottenham's Heung-Min Son is also among the nominees for the coveted prize; the Korean's winning goal for Tottenham against Manchester City gave Mauricio Pochettino's side something to protect and build upon ahead of the second leg at the Etihad Stadium next week.
At Old Trafford, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique produced a resolute display to keep his former club Manchester United at bay, while his soon-to-be Barca teammate Frenkie de Jong rounds off the four-strong shortlist - the precocious Ajax midfielder was all-action as the Dutch giants battled to a 1-1 draw with Juventus.
