It's been a disappointing few weeks for Tottenham Hotspur, as Antonio Conte's team continued their inconsistent form with a loss to Middlesbrough to knock them out of the FA Cup. The North London side are destined for another season without silverware, and face an uphill struggle if they're to finish the season with Champions League qualification.
Three points at home to Frank Lampard's Everton would be some help towards that goal, and the hosts have reason for optimism going into the game. Although Everton are still in the FA Cup, having seen off Boreham Wood in midweek, their league form is still a significant concern. Bar a 3-0 win at home to Leeds, Everton's recent games have given their fans little to cheer, with their last three away games seeing them lose at Southampton, Newcastle, and Norwich.
Tottenham lost their last two league games in their own stadium, with a 3-2 defeat against Southampton followed by a 2-0 defeat against Wolves. Antonio Conte has never lost three consecutive league games at home in his career, and he'll be looking to continue that record today. He has also never conceded to an Everton side in five games against the Toffees, which will give him some degree of confidence.
Everton won on their last visit to Tottenham, a 1-0 in September of 2020, courtesy of a Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal, but their record away to the North London outfit is poor, and going by their recent form they will be up against it if they're going to get a result on Monday.

Tottenham vs. Everton predicted lineups
Oliver Skipp is certain to miss the game with a groin injury, while Japhet Tanganga is a significant doubt with a knee injury. If Rodrigo Bentancur is back in contention, he's likely to take up a place in midfield.
Lucas Moura is also expected to be available for selection, but he appears to have lost his place in the side to Dejan Kulusevski, who has been lining up on the right-hand side of the attacking trio in recent weeks alongside Harry Kane and Son Heng-Min.
Spurs are set to continue with their back three set-up, with Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, and Ben Davies expected to start in front of Hugo Lloris in goal.
Tottenham predicted starting lineup (3-4-3): Lloris — Romero, Dier, Davies — Doherty, Bentancur, Hojberg, Sessegnon — Kulusevski, Kane, Son
Frank Lampard has a number of injury concerns to consider when picking his team. Yerry Mina won't be available, while Tom Davies' thigh injury means he won't feature. Thigh injuries have also affected Fabian Delph and Ben Godfrey, and it remains to be seen whether they will make the squad.
Everton have a little more optimism around Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who scored in their last win at the Tottenham Stadium, while Vitaliy Mykolenko will need to be assessed after having to leave the pitch in midweek. Demarai Gray wasn't available in the FA Cup match, with a fever keeping him out, and it's uncertain whether he'll be available for Monday's game.
Frank Lampard's team selection will involve a lot of moving parts, although Andre Gomes is expected to be available, meaning Dele Alli may have to settle for a place on the bench against his former club.
Everton predicted starting lineup (4-3-3): Pickford — Coleman, Holgate, Keane, Kenny — Doucoure, Allan, Van de Beek— Gray, Richarlison, Gordon
Tottenham vs. Everton betting odds & pick
All odds courtesy of DraftKings
Everton have lost 13 of their last 17 games, and Frank Lampard hasn't been able to make too much impact on that record. With his side having not won a league game away from home since August, Everton could be in for a tough evening in North London.
Tottenham's recent form gives the impression that they're not firing on all cylinders, but this could be a chance for Conte's team to pick up some much needed confidence against their vulnerable visitors.
While the home team don't look like blowing away Everton, it's hard to see them failing to score completely. With Son Heung-Min scoring six in his last 11 league games, as well as picking up four assists, he could be the dangerman for Spurs. His longstanding partnership with Harry Kane always poses a threat.
