Kei Kamara continued with his fine form in the MLS after scoring in Vancouver Whitecaps’ 2-1 defeat at Portland Timbers.
The 33-year-old got the curtain raiser as the Caps secured their fourth away victory in the Western Conference.

Two minutes into the half time break, Cristian Techera doubled the lead after converting Brek Shea’s assist.
In the second half, Diego Valeri put one goal back for the hosts which stood as a mere consolation as Carl Robinson’s men trimmed Timber’s pouring attacks.
Kamara was replaced by Erik Hurtado in the 72nd minute as his side left Providence Park with heads raised high.
