Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter has refused to be drawn into speculation about his future in charge of the South African senior national team.
This follows South Africa's quarter-final exit at the hands of Nigeria at this year's Africa Cup of Nations.
Baxter had not lost to the Super Eagles as Bafana boss before this week's 2-1 defeat, drewing once one winning twice in his two spells in charge.

Speaking to the media after arriving back in South Africa on Saturday, the 65-year-old mentor revealed he will do introspection in the next few days before deciding if he still sees his future with Bafana Bafana.
"For me, this has been a long campaign and I'm looking at myself and I'm looking at going back to Sweden for a few days," Baxter told the media at the OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday.
"I am going to look at myself and say, 'do you really think, given the situation, you can take this team forward?', and if I think no, then I will step aside, and if I think yes, then I will come back and speak to my employers, and if they don't have anything to say then I will get on with the job.
"I think in one way, everybody has to look at themselves. There is a saying, 'if it's not broken, don't break it', but I prefer to say, 'if it's not broken, break it, put it back together and you will find something you can do better'.
"So, I will do that with myself and I will ask myself a question if I can't be that person who will take it forward."
Baxter is in his second spell with Bafana Bafana, and following the team's performance in Egypt, there have been growing calls for the South African Football Association (Safa) to sack him.
However, as things stand, it doesn't look like Baxter is ready to quit his job as yet.
Baxter is contracted to Safa until after the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar, which the country expects Bafana to qualify for.
Prior to Afcon 2019, Bafana had not lost a competitive match in 18 months, but two defeats and a single win in the group stages coupled with below-par performances by the team, saw some South African fans turn against Baxter.
