Ghanaian and Ostersunds FK defender Samuel Mensah believes their game against Arsenal in the Europa League round of 32 will be a big experience for him and his teammates.

The Allsvenskan side have had a fairytale campaign so far, finishing as Group J winners and becoming the first Swedish club to reach the knockout stage.

Arsenal will travel to Jamkraft Arena on February 15, 2018 before hosting Ostersunds a week later at the Emirates Stadium.

Although, many soccer pundits have predicted an end of era to their season against Arsene Wenger's men, Mensah has other ideas.

“The game against Arsenal is going to be a great experience for us and I am particularly looking forward to it. It is going to be exciting,” Mensah told Footballmadeinghana.

“Personally, Arsenal are one of the clubs that I like because they play good football. We will prepare well for them [so we can record a convincing victory in the first leg before we go to London] since the stakes are high,” he added.

In other related news, Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi's Astana FK have been handed Portuguese giants Sporting CP in the knockout stage of the Europa League while Thomas Teye Partey and his side Atletico Madrid will face FC Copenhagen.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Abraham Frimpong are expected to play crucial roles in Crvena Zvezda's games against Czech Republican side Viktoria Plzen.
