The Netherlands started their Euro 2024 campaign positively by defeating Poland 2-1 in Hamburg on June 16 and followed that with a 0-0 draw against France in their second Group D match.
That was backed up by a Round of 16 spot, as one of the best third-place teams, where they beat Romania 3-0.
In the quarterfinals, they battled back from a goal down to defeat Turkey 2-1 but a clash with England proved to be a step too far for La Oranje.
Ronald Koeman's team lost 2-1 to the Three Lions in Dortmund as Ollie Watkins late goal saw Gareth Southgate's team into the final.
