These teams again.
For the third time in four years, Toronto FC will face the Seattle Sounders with MLS Cup on the line. This time there's a twist — the Sounders will finally get to host the championship match after back-to-back contests in Toronto in 2016 and 2017.
As everyone who follows the league knows, the teams split their previous Cup matchups, with the Sounders claiming the 2016 title and TFC reigning supreme a year later. After an off-year where neither side made it to the final game (TFC didn't even make the postseason in 2018) the two sides are ready to square off again in what will be something of a rubber match.

The narrative has shifted somewhat since the last time the teams faced one another with MLS Cup on the line. The Sounders are now looked upon as the favourites with TFC playing the scrappy underdog role. Regardless, recent history shows that neither side should expect to have it easy. Another close title match could very well be in the cards.
