Manchester United will be out for revenge in the second Manchester derby of the season.
The Red Devils were thrashed 6-3 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in October as Erik ten Hag's reign got off to something of a mixed start.
However, by the time of the reverse fixture in January, United are the in-form team, having won eight matches in a row in all competitions. City are above them in the table, but a win for United at Old Trafford would put them right on the coat-tails of the defending champions.
Here is all the information that you need to know about the Manchester derby in 2022/23.

Manchester City vs. Manchester United rivalry
For a prolonged period, United were the dominant team in the Premier League era, and they enjoyed much success. However, in recent seasons, following their takeover by the Abu Dhabi United Group in 2008, City have pushed on.
United have struggled for consistency since the retirement of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013, although things have been looking up since the appointment of Erik ten Hag before the start of 2022/23.
2022/23
The previous derby this season ended in humiliation for Manchester United as they were thrashed 6-3 by Manchester City in October 2022.
Erling Haaland and Phil Foden each scored hat-tricks in a game that looked likely to finish 6-1 until a late double from Anthony Martial as City eased off the gas.
2021/22
Last season, City won both Manchester derbies en route to being crowned Premier League champions.
In November 2021, City secured a 2-0 win at Old Trafford, with Eric Bailly scoring an own goal and Bernardo Silva also netting.
City thrashed United 4-1 in the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Kevin De Bruyne put City ahead with Jadon Sancho levelling. De Bruyne then made it 2-1 before Riyad Mahrez scored a brace.
While City won the title, it was a miserable season for United, who ended up finishing in sixth place, 35 points adrift of City.
Manchester City vs Manchester United head-to-head record
In the Premier League era, there have been 51 Manchester derbies played so far. Despite City's improvement in recent years, United have still won the most derbies overall, with 24 to City's 18.
United also lead the way in terms of goals scored, but City are just one behind.
