Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has won the Premier League Young Player of the Season award for the 2020-2021 campaign. The 21-year-old enjoyed a memorable season as he helped Pep Guardiola's side to title glory and a fourth successive Carabao Cup triumph.
The Man City star won the most combined votes from fans and a Premier League panel. Players had to be 23 or under at the start of the season to be eligible for the award. Foden follows in the footsteps of Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, who won it last year.
The award is the third major individual honor for Manchester City. Defender Ruben Dias was named Player of the Season and Pep Guardiola won the Manager of the Season award.

Foden's current deal at Manchester City is due to run until 2024. Fresh contract terms would be just reward for a player who has been generating plenty of excitement for some time.
Foden has passed the 100-appearance mark for the Blues and he is already a three-time Premier League title winner despite his relative lack of experience.
He's expected to take a prominent role in Gareth Southgate's England team at Euro 2020, with the Three Lions looking for their young stars to shine at a major international tournament.
