Liverpool travels to Arsenal later today at the Emirates Stadium as they look to continue building on their impressive run of form in the Premier League after a 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend.

Having already won the Carabao Cup this campaign, Liverpool is aiming for further glory as they look to put pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table, potentially cutting their lead at the top to one point.

Sporting News runs through the latest news regarding who will be available for the encounter ahead of their trip to North London.

Liverpool injury update

Mohamed Salah

  • Injury: Foot
  • Out since: March. 12

Mohamed Salah sustained a foot injury in the 2-0 win over Brighton at the Amex Stadium, something that initially threatened to rule him out of today's encounter. Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that his knock is healing and that the Egyptian has since returned to training in the lead-up to the trip to Arsenal.

It is unclear whether he will be fit enough to start, however, he should be involved as Liverpool look to come away with all three points against one of their domestic rivals.

Ibrahima Konate

  • Injury: Undisclosed
  • Out since: Mar. 8

Konate has missed the last two games for the Reds due to picking up a knock. Despite this, he should be available for selection after returning to full fitness coming as a boost to Jurgen Klopp.

Expectedly, he will start on the substitute bench due to the excellent recent form of pairing Virgil Van Dijk and Joel Matip.

James Milner

  • Injury: Illness
  • Out since: Mar. 12

James Milner will miss out later today against the Gunners, due to suffering from a bout of illness.

The veteran 36-year-old replaced Jordan Henderson for the last four minutes of the Brighton victory, though will, unfortunately, be one of two confirmed absentees as Jurgen Klopp's men travel south to the Emirates Stadium.

Kostas Tsimikas

  • Injury: Illness
  • Out since: Mar. 12

Lastly, Greece international Kostas Tsimikas is the other confirmed non-attender for the Reds against Mikel Arteta's men, as the 25-year-old is also suffering from illness.

He made the bench against Brighton last weekend, though didn't feature and will be ruled out for today's match.

Andy Robertson would more than likely have been expected to continue at left-back against Arsenal, however, Jurgen Klopp will be disappointed he has lost some extra cover in this defensive area.
