Juventus are ready to offload right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner in January, though the Switzerland international is ready to see out his contract in Turin, which expires next summer.
Since the departure of Dani Alves to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, Juve have struggled to be effective in the right-back berth and it is an area that they wish to strengthen when possible after Mattia De Sciglio and Benedikt Howedes have both failed to impose themselves.
Lichtsteiner, on the other hand, has played 12 times for the Serie A outfit but is still seen as surplus to requirements. He does not wish to leave in January, in the style that Patrice Evra did to Marseille last year.
The 33-year-old has been with Juventus seven years, but is now in his final months with the club, who have experimented with Stefano Sturaro and Juan Cuadrado in the full-back role in recent times.
The former Lille and Lazio man has won six Scudetti with Juve, plus three Coppa Italia.
