Juventus on the cusp of Serie A glory.....again image
Despite being caught up in the whole racism furor surrounding their prodigious talent Moise Kean, it's easy to miss the fact that Juventus can possibly seal their eighth Serie A title this weekend against AC Milan.

Defeat the Rossoneri, and should Napoli lose against Genoa, it will be job done for the Turin giants. With seven games to spare, it would be the earliest a team has ever wrapped up the league and for Juventus, it will be a boost for two massive reasons.

Firstly, it represents a chance to erase the racist incident that occurred with Kean. It was a horrific episode and the comments from some of the Juve personnel only seemed to heighten the condemnation from the larger footballing community. Winning the Scudetto would provide the Bianconeri a much-needed reprieve.

Secondly, it would allow them to focus on the Champions League. This is the competition that they are more interested in winning. It's the reason they recruited Cristiano Ronaldo. After their performance against Atletico Madrid, the Bianconeri are once against the favorites to win the competition and anything lesser will be deemed a failure.

Indeed the pressure is on for Massimiliano Allegri to deliver in Europe and Milan will provide a stern practice for his men. And should they overcome Milan and in the process win the Scudetto; it could be the perfect motivation to go and capture their first European cup in 23 years.
