Chuba Akpom said he has ‘learnt a lot’ during his loan spell with the Belgium First Division A side Sint-Truiden.
The young striker joined from English Premier League outfit Arsenal in January – his sixth loan spell - in a bid to get playing time having failed to break into the London side's first team.
The attacker scored once in six games during the regular season and notched six goals in ten outings during the Europa League play-off. However, the Stayen outfit failed to pick their group's sole semi-final playoff ticket as they finished behind Lokeren.
And, although, the Anglo-Nigerian is uncertain of his future, especially after the departure of Arsene Wenger from the Emirates Stadium outfit, he is delighted with the time spent with the Canaries.
“It’s been a season of ups and downs but I’ve learnt a lot,” Akpom tweeted.
“[I] enjoyed my loan at Sint-Truiden. Excited to see what the future holds.”

Akpom will be looking to impress the new manager that will take over from the French tactician when he returns to England as he looks to break into the main setup.
