"FIFA 22" features some familiar suspects
With the undefeated Paris Saint-Germaine taking Ligue 1 by storm with Lionel Messi's arrival, PSG looks to win their first Ligue 1 title since the 2019-2020 season, and if "FIFA 22" is any indicator, they've got as good a shot as any.
While PSG is dominating the pitch in Ligue 1, they're also doing it in a virtual setting, with the trio of Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. named as some of "FIFA 22's" most dynamic and destructive players.
Messi once again owns the game's top overall mark, the 10th time he's accomplished the feat in the long-running video game franchise. Mbappé and Neymar also join him as some of the best players in this year's edition.
Cristiano Ronaldo falls outside of the top-two for the first time since "FIFA 12," unseated by Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski for the title of second-to-Messi in best overall ratings.
