Fantasy Football: Tottenham quartet headline Goal Team of the Week image

Week three of the Premier League is now in the books and there was certainly plenty of excitement. The biggest winners though were Tottenham Hotspur, who stunned Manchester United at Old Trafford to the tune of 3-0.

There were certainly plenty of individual performances that helped them claim all three points, and four of those individuals racked up enough Fantasy points to make our Team of the Week. Read below to see who else made the cut.

GK: Hugo Lloris - Tottenham - 1 Game, 5 Saves, 1 Clean Sheet = 9 Points

DEF: Kieran Trippier - Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

Trippier’s fantastic ability from set pieces will likely come as little surprise to those who watched his set pieces at the World Cup. Now, in the last two weeks, he’s registered a goal and assist via dead ball situations. Rotation is always a concern for Tottenham players, and wingbacks in particular, but there’s little arguing as to how effective he can be in Fantasy when he does play.

DEF: Nacho Monreal - Arsenal - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

DEF: Harry Maguire - Leicester - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

The referenced media source is missing and needs to be re-embedded.

DEF: Aymeric Laporte - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

MID: Lucas Moura - Tottenham - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 14 Points

After playing just 206 minutes after joining in January, some doubted his ability to break into Tottenham’s starting XI, but there’s very few doubting him now. His brace against United helped propel Spurs to their first win at Old Trafford since 2014, and will likely now see his ownership surge in the Goal game. Considering he is playing as a second striker at the moment, his £6.9m price tag and listing as a midfielder makes him look a fantastic own.

MID: Roberto Pereyra - Watford - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

MID: Mo Salah - Liverpool - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

Salah managed just the one goal against Brighton but that fails to reflect how dominant he was on the day. He led the league in both touches in the box and chances created this week which could have easily led to more points. You likely don’t need to be told how good Salah is but, if you’re one of the owners that avoided him for, it’s probably time to change that.

MID: Eden Hazard - Chelsea - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

FOR: Aleksandar Mitrovic - Newcastle - 1 Game, 2 Goals, 1 Assist = 15 Points

The big Serbian never really found his footing at Newcastle but he’s been pretty lethal since he first pulled on a Fulham kit in January. In fact, since joining the London outfit, Mitrovic has scored 15 goals in 21 starts and three in three in the Premier League. The coming fixtures probably prevent him from being a worthwhile investment right now, but this is probably not the last time that he’ll pop up in our Team of the Week.

FOR: Harry Kane - Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Assist = 10 Points
