Toronto FC is headed to the Canadian Championship final for the fourth straight year.
The three-time defending champion in the tournament, TFC rode a dominant first half to claim a 3-0 victory over the Ottawa Fury in the second leg of the Canadian Championship semifinals on Wednesday.
Following last week's 2-0 victory over the Fury in the nation's capital, Toronto booked its ticket in the two-legged final with a 5-0 aggregate scoreline.
Wednesday's match was over almost as quickly as it started, as TFC looked to score early and often. Midfielder Nick DeLeon got things going in the 14th minute when he side-footed a Richie Laryea feed past Ottawa goalkeeper Callum Irving. Forward Patrick Mullins, who scored his first goal as a member of the club over the weekend, gave TFC a 2-0 lead 23 minutes later with a tap-in on a DeLeon assist.

Two minutes later, DeLeon notched his second goal of the night after cutting past a Fury defender and hitting a low shot behind Irving to give Toronto a 3-0 lead.

It was academic from that point on as the five-goal aggregate advantage allowed TFC to comfortably play out the rest of the contest without any real concern.
The Montreal Impact defeated Cavalry FC in the other semifinal later Wednesday night, setting up an all-MLS final in September.
