For the second time in the last three years, the Canadian Championship final will feature the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC.
The Impact punched their ticket to the final after a 1-0 victory over Calgary's Cavalry FC on Wednesday, winning the two-legged semifinal 3-1 on aggregate over the Canadian Premier League side.
A 13th-minute goal by Anthony Jackson-Hamel sealed the deal for the Impact, who entered the match with a 2-1 advantage thanks to last week's first-leg victory in Quebec .

It was actually Cavalry who had the better of the statistics in Wednesday's contest, as the Alberta club pushed for goals that ultimately never came. Cavalry, who comfortably won the CPL's spring season sit atop the standings this fall season (tied with Edmonton), outshot (18-9) and outpassed (373-268) the Impact and held a 60-40 possession advantage.
Despite the underlying numbers, Montreal was superior on the scoreboard on the night.
