The accolades continue to roll in for Canadian soccer star Alphonso Davies.
Just three days after he became the youngest player to score a goal for Bayern Munich in an official match since 1999 and the first born in the 2000s, Davis was named No. 6 on Goal's NxGn 2019: The best 50 wonderkids in football.

According to head coach Niko Kovac, Bayern has a “diamond in the rough” in the youngster from Edmonton.
Davies will not suit up for Canada Soccer on Sunday against French Guiana for a Concacaf Nations League qualifier at BC Place.
However, as the youngest Canadian to score a goal in an international match, the future is definitely bright for Davies.
