Two of the Premier League's most exciting sides meet on Saturday as Brighton play host to Newcastle United at the Amex Stadium.

Both these sides started the season with big victories on the opening matchday but both suffered setbacks last time out with Brighton losing to West Ham and Newcastle being beaten by Liverpool respectively.

As a result, this should prove an enthralling fixture especially with both teams looking to grab European qualification again during the 2023/24 season.

    Brighton vs. Newcastle best bet

    • Pick: Newcastle over 2.5 cards
    • Odds: -110 (BetMGM)

We're only three matches into the new Premier League season but the Magpies already top the yellow card table.

So far in those outings, Eddie Howe's side have picked up a league leading ten yellow cards, mostly owing to the club's aggressive and forward pressing style of play. They've also conceded a competition-high 39 fouls to date.

With Brighton having quite a few players who are quick and tricky on the ball, coupled with their quick passing brand of football, we're expecting the Newcastle yellow cards to flow once again in this encounter.

    Brighton vs. Newcastle flier bet

    • Pick: Both teams to score and match to finish a draw
    • Odds: +325 (Dafabet)

Given that half of the Premier League fixtures between these two sides beforehand have seen the end result finish in a stalemate, we're expecting the pair to play out another entertaining draw here.

Both sides have had high and low points already this season and as such, we're expecting them both to be closely matched here especially as both suffered poor defeats last time out and will be looking to rectify those mistakes.
