Juventus centre-back Medhi Benatia is set to evaluate his future at the Italian giants over concerns about his playing time.
The Morocco international, 31, has made just four league appearances and one in the Champions League so far this season, and feels that he needs more regular football at this stage of his career.
He is one of five senior centre-backs at the Old Lady and finds himself behind first-choice pairing Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci while competing for minutes with Daniele Rugani and Andrea Barzagli.
Barcelona have recently been linked with a bid for Benatia amid reports they want to sign an experienced centre-half in the January transfer window, while Arsenal and Marseille are also rumoured to hold an interest.
"If [Juventus] need me in the Champions League, I will make myself ready," Benatia told La Stampa.
"But I can hardly play a game every so often. Last year I did well because I had more continuity. Unfortunately, now I do not have it. Part of my job is that I always have to work to make myself ready, but it is not a pleasant situation.
"I am available to the team, as long as I stay here, I will give my best. It's normal that this is not good for me. I'm 31 and I have to try to play as much as possible. Let's see in January what will happen, how much I have been used, if Juventus need me."
The defender also voiced concerns that Juventus are conceding more goals this season and believes that is partially down to a focus on allowing attacking players to flourish.
"We have people like Ronaldo, Dybala or Douglas Costa and, when you put them all together, it is normal that we have to be much more careful because they are phenomena, but you cannot ask them to defend and to attack, to score," he added.
"When we have the ball we can create even more, but we leave a little more space and it is something on which there is a lot to work on. We have to go back to being a team capable of not conceding goals for 10-15 matches."
