GAME PREVIEW

Olivier Giroud Arsenal

So far, so good for Arsenal at the Emirates Cup.

There were plenty of positives in the Gunners' 5-2 victory over Benfica, though the fact the result was 5-1 the last time the Portuguese side visited - with Yaya Sanogo scoring twice - is a reminder that these games do not mean much.

Spurs fans 'love Walker' despite boos

Sead Kolasinac was impressive in the back three, though, and Reiss Nelson continues to show he could have a part to play in the first team as soon as this coming season.

Sevilla - though under-strength having split their team between the two days - will present another test.

Arsene Wenger does seem to have held many of his stars back for the second match, however. Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil made only brief appearances against Benfica, while Hector Bellerin, Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny did not feature at all.

The Spaniards, by contrast, have already utilised Wissam Ben Yedder, Ever Banega and Nolito, among others, and do not boast as deep a squad.
