Arsenal are showing no signs of giving up in their Premier League title challenge as Mikel Arteta's side host Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The Gunners face a battle to haul back defending champions Manchester City in the run-in, but Arteta's young team will push Pep Guardiola's experienced side all the way in the final weeks of the campaign.

Arsenal still require a slip from City to gain ground on Guardiola's treble-chasers, but they also need to keep on winning their own matches in the home straight of 2022/23.

Brighton are on course for a first ever European qualification spot with the Seagulls holding crucial games in hand over their Europa League rivals.

Arsenal have shown real grit in recent weeks following a poor run of form, with an impressive 3-1 victory over Chelsea backed up by a 2-0 victory on the road at Newcastle United last weekend.

Arteta and his players remain determined to fight City every step of the way ahead of facing a Brighton side moving ever closer to a top-six finish.

Arsenal vs Brighton lineups

Arsenal's defensive issues continue to be a problem for Arteta, with William Saliba still out, and Oleksandr Zinchenko struggling with a calf problem.

Robert De Zerbi has confirmed Solly March and Adam Webster will both miss out, with the former potentially sidelined until next season, but teenage star Evan Ferguson is fit to lead the attack.

Below are the projected starting lineups for both teams ahead of their Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on May 14.

  • Injured: Tomiyasu, Elneny, Saliba, Zinchenko
  • Suspended: None

Arteta remains confident that Saliba and Zinchenko will be back before the end of the season, with Jakub Kiwior and Kieran Tierney set to fill in as Jorginho keeps his spot in midfield.

Brighton starting 11

Ferguson is set to replace Danny Welbeck in the forward line with Julio Enciso and Levi Colwill also in line for recalls from De Zerbi.
