Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes has offered a bold take on Arne Slot's relationship with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold has started all three of Liverpool's Premier League games so far this season with Slot picking up maximum points in his first month in charge at Anfield.
However, despite appearing to be gelling well in the post-Jurgen Klopp era, the pair endured an awkward moment in Liverpool's 2-0 home over Brentford in August.

Slot's call to substitute the England international caused frustration for the 25-year-old and the Dutch coach went into the dugout to speak to his defender.
The issue was raised in Slot's post-match interview, and he dismissed it, claiming he is pleased to see players demanding time on the pitch.
Alexander-Arnold's expiring contract is another sub-plot to the story, with his deal running out at the end of the campaign, and Scholes hinted at all not being well between the pair.
"Do you think Slot likes him (Trent)?", Scholes asked former Reds center-back Jamie Carragher on the Stick to Football podcast.
"Because watching that game (v Brentford), every time he gave the ball away, Slot was shaking his head, looking around and turning around to his bench.
"Every time he (Trent) was trying his long balls, that he can do brilliantly, Slot kept shaking his head and turning around. And I thought, 'I'm not sure he likes him' as I saw it."
Scholes comments will have eagle-eyed Liverpool fans on the lookout this weekend as the Reds return to Premier League action at home to Nottingham Forest on September 14.
