Tuchel in the running to replace Ten Hag?
Manchester United’s worst-ever Premier League start has fans and the board restless. With just eight points from their opening seven games, the club currently sits in 14th place — an unthinkable position for a team of United’s stature.
According to reports from the Manchester Evening News, the club is already exploring potential replacements for Ten Hag, with Tuchel being their prime candidate.
The German tactician, known for his tactical brilliance and European success, was linked with the club in the summer.

However, United chose to stick with Ten Hag, even triggering a one-year extension in his contract. But with the team’s recent stumbles — including a disappointing goalless draw against Aston Villa — Tuchel’s name has resurfaced.
Tuchel, currently out of work after his Bayern Munich departure, brings a glittering CV, including a Champions League win with Chelsea in 2021.
However, his managerial career has not been without drama, having had notable fallouts with the boards at both Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
If United does make a move for Tuchel, the Theatre of Dreams could soon see a new leading man.
