As Salah’s future remains uncertain, Liverpool could turn to AC Milan star Christian Pulisic to fill the void, in case the Egyptian leaves.
Mohamed Salah's future at Anfield is hanging by a thread, and the club is reportedly considering potential replacements.
According to reports (via Calciomercato), AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic has emerged as a possible candidate to take on Salah’s mantle if the Egyptian King departs next summer.

Can Pulisic replace Salah?
With Salah’s contract expiring in less than 12 months and no extension in sight, Liverpool are preparing for the possibility of losing their star man on a free transfer. Salah has been in fine form under new boss Arne Slot, contributing three goals and four assists in his first five Premier League starts. But the whispers of a departure are growing louder.
Enter Christian Pulisic. The former Chelsea winger, who’s been lighting it up at AC Milan, has reportedly caught the eye of Liverpool’s recruitment team.
The American has been in sizzling form this season, even scoring against Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this month. Pulisic has racked up six consecutive matches with either a goal or an assist, even outperforming Milan’s star Rafael Leao.
Pulisic, now 25, is showing his best form since leaving Chelsea for Milan, where he’s scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists in 57 appearances.
That’s a far cry from his inconsistent time at Stamford Bridge, where he managed 26 goals and 19 assists in 145 appearances — a decent return, but nothing like the Salah-level magic Reds fans have become accustomed to.
Is Pulisic the perfect fit?
While Liverpool have time to explore their options, the idea of bringing Pulisic back to the Premier League is gaining momentum. He didn’t quite reach his full potential at Chelsea, but at Milan, he’s become a revelation. The question is: Could Pulisic handle the pressure of replacing someone like Salah at Anfield?
Liverpool fans would certainly expect the American to up his game if he made the switch. Salah has set the bar sky-high with his goals, assists, and moments of brilliance. Pulisic, though, has shown flashes of being able to deliver under pressure — let’s not forget his key role in Chelsea’s Champions League-winning campaign.
For now, Salah’s Anfield future remains up in the air, but if he does bid farewell, don’t be surprised if "Captain America" is next in line to don the famous red shirt.
