Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has provided an update on Kevin De Bruyne’s injury after the Belgian star was taken off during City’s match against Inter.
With the crucial showdown against Arsenal just around the corner, fans are left wondering if their midfield maestro will be fit in time.
De Bruyne was subbed off at halftime after appearing to struggle with a problem late in the first half. Phil Foden took his place on the field.
Joining him on the bench was new signing Savinho, who was also replaced at halftime by Ilkay Gundogan.

What Guardiola said on substituting De Bruyne & Savinho?
Guardiola revealed that De Bruyne’s substitution might have been on the cards even without the injury. “I didn’t speak with the doctors yet. I will have more info tomorrow,” he explained.
The manager hinted that the changes were also tactical, saying, "Against a team that defended 5-3-2... we needed players special for small spaces. Phil [Foden] and Gundo [Gundogan] are the best in the pockets."
Savinho’s early exit raises further concerns as the young forward has struggled with fitness issues since his summer arrival from Troyes. This latest injury adds to the frustration, especially after his impressive start.
As City prepares to face Arsenal, fans will be hoping De Bruyne can work his magic once again, while Arsenal will be missing their own key player, Martin Odegaard, due to injury.
The big question remains: will City’s Belgian wizard be ready to cast his spell against the Gunners?
